Download a model once and MemoryAI replies without an internet connection: on a plane, on the underground, in the mountains. We tested it with airplane mode on: the app started, loaded its model and answered, with Wi-Fi and mobile data switched off.

Kid Mode
A safer AI for children
Turn on Kid Mode with a parent PIN, then hand over the phone. Your child can ask questions, learn and play with words, while the settings stay locked.

Privacy
Your chats stay on your phone
Your conversations, documents and memories are processed and stored on your device. There is no account to create and there are no ads.
To improve the app we use usage statistics linked to a random app identifier, crash reports and, if you allow them, notifications. Never the content of your chats.
The privacy policy lists exactly what is sent and to whom: read the privacy policy.

Questions
Is MemoryAI really free?
Yes. There is no subscription, no in-app purchase and no advertising.
Do I need an internet connection?
Only to download a model, and for optional extras such as notifications. Once a model is on your phone, you can chat and ask about your documents without a connection.
Which phones does it run on?
Android 9 or later, and iPhone with iOS 16.4 or later. Models need storage space, a few gigabytes to start with, and phones with more memory (RAM) can run larger models.
Is Kid Mode completely safe?
No filter is perfect. Kid Mode reduces exposure to unsafe content, but it does not eliminate it. Stay nearby while your child uses it.
Where are my chats saved?
On your phone. If you use the backup option, a copy goes to your own Google Drive or iCloud.
